The Christmas Show Press Release
This year Santa Claus will be extra busy in the lead up to Christmas as he has just announced dates for The Christmas Show 2011, a show filled to the brim with Christmas spirit, sparkle and song.
“Ho ho ho! I’d made my list, checked it twice, found out who’s naughty and nice, then things went a little pear shaped. You’ll need to come to the show to find out exactly how it all turns out,” says Santa. “And I am so looking forward to seeing all the little children with their eyes open for a change!”
The Christmas Show is a 45 minute stage show packed with excitement, music and fun which will bring the magic of Christmas to life. It stars Santa himself, along with Mrs. Claus and a host of loveable Christmas characters. The familiar characters and Christmas songs will make this show an instant hit with both the young and the young at heart.
The Christmas Show begins with the characters busily preparing for Christmas. They have just finished decorating their beautiful tree, Trilly, when suddenly Rooby the Reindeer arrives with some terrible news – Santa has fallen, hit his head and lost his memory. He can’t even remember his own name, never mind which present belongs to which child! The friends need work together to get Santa’s memory back and prepare the toys for delivery, or Christmas will be ruined. So it’s off to the North Pole they go, and with the help of a touch of magic they just might be able to save Christmas!
The Christmas Show will be performed live this December by an all Australian cast at the Clocktower Centre Moonee Ponds, the Whitehorse Centre Nunawading, Kingston City Hall Moorabbin and the Forum Theatre, Melbourne.
For families looking for an affordable way to experience the magic of Christmas together, the Christmas Show is THE show to see in 2011, and is great value for money at $24.90 per ticket for everyone over 12 months.
